What is Blood Works: An Owner’s Guide?

Blood Works is the most advanced health communication tool to help people talk to their doctors about blood health, medical emergencies and transfusion. It’s written in plain language, designed for patients, families, and healthcare professionals to use together.

Why was Blood Works created?

Many people struggle to understand what’s involved in blood-related decisions—from simple test results to transfusions. Blood Works bridges the communication gap that can often exist between patients and doctors.

Where Your Donation Goes

Blood Works is 100% funded by the non profit Human Touch Media Foundation. Every donation supports:

1. Translation and Language Access
Making the book available in more languages, including Spanish (2024), German (2025), and upcoming editions in Chinese, Portuguese, and Italian.
2. Distribution to Underserved Communities
Providing free or low-cost copies to patients and educators in low-resource settings.
3. Awareness and Outreach
